Our dynamic movement class blends physical fitness with emotional regulation to build strong bodies and confidence. Through fun, imaginative themes, children are guided through strength building exercises, gymnastics/ninja skills and obstacle courses to develop foundational fine motor skills, coordination, flexibility, balance, agility and body awareness. Movement is used as a powerful tool to build physical and emotional resilience, and a strong, confident sense of self.
Throughout the program, children are supported to find their "just right" energy groove. Through mindfulness techniques and regulation strategies, children learn simple, powerful tools to notice how their bodies feel, understand their energy level and choose what they need, whether that be to slow their engines, find their focus, spark their energy or reset their emotions. Children will learn practical tools to increase focus, manage frustration, and build emotional resilience, resulting in a calm and steady mind.
Children dive into hands-on, sensory rich and messy play activities based on the fortnightly theme. Children learn crucial social skills through teamwork and developmental play. Our class promotes connection and regulation through laughter, creativity, teamwork and sensory magic, ensuring every child can shine, make friends and feel proud at Mindful Movers, teamwork is messy, magical and fun.
